Lou Lou's moment in time
The Copenhagen based restaurant Lou Lou - is the latest trend orientated restaurant-to-try, created by the danish michelin chef Bo Bech. He is also the owner of the slightly more experimental and gastronomic restaurant Geist located on Kongens Nytorv, in Copenhagen, and has spend many years abroad, working at acclaimed international restaurants. We tried a recommendable 3-course menu of oysters, fusilli pasta with parmesan and a perfect combo of rhubarb with vanilla ice-cream.
The interior at Lou Lou's is created by the Danish design company 'Space Copenhagen', founded by Signe Bindslev Henriksen and Peter Bundgaard Rützou. Both designers graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture, and SPACE Copenhagen has turned their hands onto everything, including interior design to furniture, and refined objects for everyday use, as well as artistic installations, and art direction.
These diverse areas are especially reflective of their ability to transcend many roles and apply their emotional method of working to a number of projects or products.
The studio has been involved in creating the interiors, for some of the world’s most influential restaurants like the world’s best restaurant NOMA, and Geranium, owned by Bóchuse D’or winner Rasmus Kofoed, together with objects for Georg Jensen, Fredericia Furniture and Mater.
