The Diane von Fürstenberg brand is a woman's best friend. It is the brand she turns to for glamour and confidence, to be the woman she wants to be. Founded in 1970 by the designer, DVF is now a global luxury lifestyle brand and one of the premier names in American fashion. Renowned for its iconic wrap dress and signature prints, DVF has expanded to a full wardrobe of ready-to-wear and accessories including handbags, shoes, small leather goods, scarves, and jewellery. The company also offers luggage, eyewear, and home furnishings.
Diane von Furstenberg has partnered once again with the supermodel Karlie Kloss, for a vibrant, socially-driven campaign, that celebrated the designer's Spring 2016 collection and builds on the story of women's empowerment that is at the heart of the brand.
“This campaign feels so DVF because the first things you see are confidence and colourful prints,” says von Furstenberg. Karlie (Kloss) was a perfect choice to represent—and celebrate—the multifaceted nature of today’s woman,” comments Diane von Fürstenberg.
As a founder and Chairman, Diane, is also Chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers of America and serves on the board of Culture Shed, The New Center for Artistic and Cultural Innovation in New York City, emphasising on the importance of giving back and creating a campaign with a meaning.
Fürstenberg continues; “She (Karlie Kloss) is a supermodel, she is an entrepreneur, she gives back, she is a student, she is close to her family. She’s passionate, constantly improving herself, fearless. She knows who she is and is never afraid to show it. She is the woman she wants to be. Together we invite all women to find this spirit and confidence in themselves.”
